Apple iPod Competition Rules
Afrigator iPod giveaway competition rules (also known as “certain small printâ€)
These rules (“these rulesâ€) govern entries into the Afrigator iPod giveaway competition (“this competitionâ€) at http://blog.afrigator.com/competitions/. If you enter the competition you agree to be bound by these rules. Should you elect not to be bound by these rules, your entry will not be considered as a valid entry into the competition.
- Afrigator.com’s employees, agents and contractors may not enter this competition.
- By entering this competition you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that this competition or your participation in this competition are not unlawful in your country of residence.
- In order to enter this competition and be considered for the prize, you must either:
a. ensure that people you refer to Afrigator.com make use of your email address as their reference for the referral. If they do not use your email address as their reference, you will not be considered an entrant into this competition; or
b. sign up with Afrigator before 31 May 2007. - Afrigator.com, its directors, agents, employees and/or affiliates (collectively referred to as “Afrigatorâ€) do not advocate any unlawful activities including, but are not limited to, sending unsolicited email messages and compromising any computer networks or systems as part of participating in this competition. You indemnify Afrigator for any losses of any nature and however arising, which third parties may suffer as a result of any unlawful activities associated with your entry into this competition.
- Afrigator will not sell or distribute personal information collected through this competition to any third party.
- This competition closes on 31 May 2007 and the winners will be announced on http://blog.afrigator.com on 1 June 2007. The judges’ decision is final and will not be open to discussion.
- You are required to furnish Afrigator with a delivery address for any prize/s you may win within 7 days of announcement of the prizewinners. If you do not furnish Afrigator with a delivery address within these 7 days, you will forfeit any prize/s you may win.
- Prizes awarded in terms of this competition are not redeemable for cash or transferrable to any person other than the prizewinner. Afrigator provides the prizes on a “voetstoots†basis and makes no warranties as to the prizes’ functional state or utility. Afrigator is not responsible for the conditions of the prizes from the time they are handed to Afrigator’s delivery agents to the time you receive a prize.
- If Afrigator is unable to deliver a prize to a winner or if a winner fails to claim the prize within 2 months of the announcement of the prizewinners then the prize concerned shall be forfeited.
- The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this competition. You consent to the jurisdiction of a Magistrates Court in the Republic of South Africa, which has jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising out of any aspect of this competition.
- Afrigator may amend these rules from time to time in writing without notice to you. It is your responsibility to check for updates and amendments to these rules. To the extent these rules constitute an agreement between you and Afrigator, you agree that these rules may only be amended, in writing, by Afrigator.
